Summer

Ive traded a beach ball for study hall

Ive traded the warm sand for a pen in hand

waking up early in the morning
when I've could of been in bed snoring

writing and reading as the day starts proceeding

It was all worth it in the end, hopefully this becomes a trend.

The college bound program is going well, theirs a lot of learning going on and to top it off a bit of fun involved. This weak we went explored the deep deaths of the Hakensack river, well maybe not so deep. But it was pretty adventureous,we attempted fetching fish but instead we retrived twigs and at times nothing. To Top off our journey we rode amongsest the marsh searching eagerly for all types wildlife we don't view everyday. The trip was fun and also different at times we need to escape the city life and become familiar with Our natural suroundinds.

Do your part and vote on The Fashion Show

James Paul collection was amazing the texture, versatility and just the way everything made sense even though the designs were abstract, which gave them an Artistic feel. James Paul is truely a revolutionist and he's ready to show America, what fashion really is, wearable art.

Vote James Paul

Written due to school

Freedom deprived from the hand of a teen
parental control,no self thoughts always coming in between
teachers, principals and even the school dean
always trying to put you in a suit and tie, just let me ware a white T and blue jean
All I want to do is be a teen

One step, your future set and done

Time to get serious, make room for studying and less fun

time to study, stay up late till you see the sun

time to forget about appearance and wear a bun

I know it'll be worth while once, a father is reunited with his son

one step, your future set and done

unexpected

Selected from thousands, much is  expected, I guess talent was detected.

Said I had a drive, waiting for acceptance letter to arrive.

Friends with letters in hand, dreams becoming as quick as sand

Wondering why? went down to the principal office with a great sigh

I was accepted talent was truly detected!

Struggles lie beneath The Light

Carry the struggles of both, my parents Clinton and Mary.
Life of choosing sides can be kind of scary. One says yes, the other says no, got to stick to the stasis Quo.
Ask a question, to avoid you they respond, “I don’t know”. Feeling alone, parents yelling at the top of their lungs, a very high tone. Praying all night, faith keeps me believing everything will be alright.
I awake, expecting bacon and eggs instead I find a bowl of frosted flake big mistake.
Mom was always in a rush,
she never had time to beautify herself, so she would do it in her car carrying lipstick, foundation and blush.
Dad the silent, peace maker not very violent. In the morning I would always put his tie on for him,
But ever since the argument he would just put on clip on ties you know the ones you place on the shirts rise.
I miss the past, if only the good days could’ve last, the days where I would sit on my dads lap while my mom kissed me on the top of my head, this relationship is now dead.
Signing divorce paper, my heart roasting with
smoke and vapor.
What happened is this truly the end?
Was it the economic crises as the down payment for our house rises? Boss threatening my moms job, when coming home she would explode like ticking bombs.
Quick I came to realize I couldn’t make the change within their relationship, with lots of hesitation, I brought them to church,
The perfect destination.
I wanted them to realize they were God’s creation and God wants us to be in peace with each other, and love one other ,for they carry love like no other.
I got back my Father and Mother.
